These are some of the comic strips I’ve done for use in mental health related workshops, mostly in high schools.
Although the content can be quite personal, I’ve found that sharing these stories in graphic form has encouraged discussions of the issues presented.
The comics are generally presented via power point and I talk through them and invite questions.
These drawings were for a school workshop on the difficult topic of self-harm.
Stress comic strip
This autobiographical comic strip was drawn during a time when I was experiencing high levels of stress and
used to share my own experiences and facillitate discussion during workshops.
Short comic to illustrate the frustration caused by sensory processing problems which I suffer from.
OCD comic strip
This autobiographical comic strip was drawn to share my own experiences of OCD and facillitate discussion during workshops in schools.
